Apple Pie Factory

Thanks to the wonderful Erasmus students from the school of Design and Architecture (AHO) Pietro, Lea A, Lea B, Mathilde, Nicolas and Edwin, we´ve done a serious clean up of the garden, the cellar, the woodshed and the house. To build up the spirits, we´ve been picking up apples and baking apple pies - at the small familial factory scale we´re envisioning for Solfab. And because we have no freezer yet, all our wonderful volunteers took a pie home, and we´re bringing pies to our good friends around - but you can come of course pay us a visit and get your pie!

Solfab´s first project: Rejuvenation!

To become an enjoyable open space, our wonderful house needs a serious make up. Together with Julio Perez from Gaia Arkitekter, Dag and Mette Coucheron the happy owner of the house, Christian Rubell our apprentice builder and Stephane Babatasi our architect, we are putting together a super duper plan to insulate the house with natural, low cost and warm material. 


The super duper plan will be presented on thursday the 22nd of September, followed by a diner around the large table, which can seat at least 10 people. If you are interested and available, you´re warmly welcome, please make sure you reserve your seat in advance!

The Beginnings

Constitution of Solskinnsfabrikken Samvirkeforetak (SA)

The first steering meeting was held on wednesday 7th of September (20110907), in Solfab´s office in Trollveien 80, Nesodden, in the presence of:

Gard Eide Larsen, carpenter, extreme skier, social entrepreneur
Etienne Gernez, Solfab dagligleder
The committee declared the official constitution of the SA. Next step is registration with the Norwegian authorities, with the vision and rules of the SA.
